Balanced Speech Therapy is a private practice serving children and adults in the Upper Valley Region. We are seeking to welcome a passionate, engaging, and motivated Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) and Camp Counselors to our team at our White River Junction clinic.

Summer Camp Counselors

​

Position Overview 

Provide supervision, guidance, and programming for 4-8 children ages 4-9 from 8:00-3:00 for 4 weeks (July 7th- August 1st) at our clinic in White River Junction, VT.  Support and create a language rich, developmentally appropriate environment for children to learn, grow, and have fun! 

​

Duties include drop off/pick up, facilitating group activities including shared book readings, arts and crafts, outdoor play and group games. Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all campers and staff. 

​

Pre-Camp training will take place on June 30th-July 2nd

Qualifications

* Must be 18 years old and a high school graduate or equivalent

* Experience working with children

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
